Gillian was appointed as OMAC Director in August 2006 having previously been employed as Deputy Director & Live Events Programmer since 2000. 

As Director and with support from OMAC’s Board of Trustees Gillian is responsible for overseeing the strategic and artistic direction of the organisation as well as fundraising, HR management, advocacy and financial management.  In addition, Gillian will be working closely with the project team to ensure that OMAC’s vision is realised by the design and ambition of its capital development project, The MAC – a new home for OMAC due to open in 2011 in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.   

A graduate of Queen’s University, Gillian recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice through the University of Ulster.  She also holds a PG Dip in Organisation and Management, a Diploma in Business Administration and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing.
