OMAC Community Engagement Programme

OMAC’s live events and visual art programmes are energised and informed by an innovative Community Engagement programme. These three main programmes are underpinned by a commitment to increasing participation and creative expression at every level with the result that OMAC is considered the most open to innovation and family-friendly art centre in the area.
OMAC’s Community Engagement programme provides high quality arts-based developmental projects facilitated by professional practitioners, for youth, community groups and schools throughout Northern Ireland. These initiatives aim to provide pupils, teachers and schools with the very best educational support and training in all aspects of the arts.

The Community Engagement programme will explore issue-based arts and cultural activities through four main strands.
• New Generations
• All Audiences
• Artitude
• Professional Development
These strands challenge and motivate participants and aim to engage and support community groups throughout Belfast.
